The Terms and Conditions of Use set forth herein apply to the Skills Excellence website, including video, text content, newsletters or special information which are owned by The Institute for Trade Skills Excellence (ABN 71 121 174 810).

"Skills Excellence", "Website", "we" or "us" all have the same meaning and refer to the website, www.skillsexcellence.com.au. "The Institute for Trade Skills Excellence" or "The Institute" refers to the owner of Skills Excellence and any sub-contractors engaged to produce Skills Excellence.

5. Collection & use of personal information

5.1 By using this Website you accept that we may collect non-personal, aggregated information about subscribers' use of our site. We may use Cookies to keep track of login names and passwords, check your status as a subscriber or help users move to preferred pages faster. Information such as IP address internal session ID, user's domain, type of Internet browser, domain of Website might be collected and used only for traffic auditing and analysing trends.

Use of this Website or its related services for the purpose of gaining advertising or subscription revenue;
Sale of advertising on the Skills Excellence website or any third-party website, targeted to Skills Excellence content;
Any use of the Website which Skills Excellence finds has the effect of competing
with or displacing the market for Skills Excellence or its content.

6.2Prohibited commercial uses do not include:

Linking to a Skills Excellence video or article

6.3 You agree not to use or launch any automated system, including but not limited to "robots," "spiders," or "offline readers," that accesses the Website in a manner that sends more request messages to the Skills Excellence servers than a human can reasonably produce in the same period by using a conventional web browser.

6.4 Skills Excellence grants the operators of search engines permission to use spiders to copy materials from the site for the sole purpose of and solely to the extent necessary for creating publicly available searchable indices of the materials, but not caches or archives of such materials. We reserve the right to revoke these exceptions either generally or in specific cases.

6.5 You agree not to collect or harvest any personally identifiable information, including account names, from the Website, nor to use the communication systems provided by the Website (e.g. comments, email) for any commercial solicitation purposes. You agree not to solicit, for commercial purposes, any users of the Website with respect to their User Submissions.

7. Transactions

By ordering a product using the Skills Excellence site you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

7.1 If we are acting as disclosed agents or referrers for a third party supplier in each of these cases your contract is between you and them. You will be subject to their terms and conditions and you must read these before proceeding with your order.

7.2 Our site or confirmatory notification will inform you with whom your contract is made - in some cases it will be Skills Excellence , in other cases it may be a third party where Skills Excellence is acting on its behalf. Where your contract is not with Skills Excellence but with a third party such as an event organiser, photograph or merchandise supplier, we may pass on your credit card and any other essential booking details to that third party.

The placing of an order for any goods or services by you will constitute consent to us to pass on personal information to a supplier. Prices include GST unless otherwise stated.
